Attorney to join litigation institute
The Conner Law Group managing partner Mike Conner has been invited to become a member of the selective Complex Commercial Litigation Institute. Conner, who was Savannah’s first attorney to be inducted as a Fellow in the LCA and sits on the organization’s advisory board, is the only attorney invited to represent the Southern District of Georgia.

Hilton Head official earns certification
Hilton Head Public Service District Community & Personnel Relations Manager Pete Nardi has earned the certified manager certification from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers at the James Madison University College of Business in Harrisonburg, Va.
Nardi, of Hilton Head Island, joined the district in 2004.
Veterinarian receives training
Mike Ammermon, with Case Veterinary Hospital, recently received advanced surgical training in tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA’s). This orthopedic surgery repairs torn cruciate ligaments of the knee in dogs. Jeff May, who has performed more than 3,000 of these surgeries, led the training at Case Veterinary Hospital in Savannah.

Skip Lohmeyer, chief technology officer at HunterMaclean law firm, has been recognized by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) with a 2012 Distinguished Peer Award for outstanding leadership.
