Fire Marshal elected to Georgia Fire Inspectors Association

Savannah Fire & Emergency Services Fire Marshal Craig Landolt has been elected to serve his second two-year term as president of the Georgia Fire Inspectors Association. Landolt has worked for the city of Savannah for more than 18 years as a fire inspector and was promoted to the position of city fire marshal in 2007.

Colonel retires

Col. James E. Grandy II, who has been the maintenance group commander of the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, retired from the Georgia Air National Guard after 25 years of honorable service.

Master Sgt. Joseph MacGregor has been named as the senior non-commissioned officer of the quarter for the 2nd Quarter 2012 for the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard. MSgt. MacGregor serves as the police services/investigations supervisor with the 165th AW Security Forces Squadron.

 

Lieutenant colonel assumes command

Lt. Col. Robert A. Frankosky, 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, assumed command of the 165th Maintenance Group from Col. James Grandy. The 165th Maintenance Group is responsible for the aircraft maintenance of the unit’s C-130H2 aircraft.
