Morning News publisher named president of Savannah Rotary Club

Michael C. Traynor, publisher of the Savannah Morning News and savannahnow.com, has been announced as the new president of the Savannah Rotary Club.

Traynor will serve for one year and succeeds outgoing president Steve Stephens, owner of Stagefront Productions.

Founded in 1914, the Rotary Club of Savannah has promoted and participated in numerous community service projects including the Boy Scouts, educational funds, Christmas for the poor, youth sport programs and Rotary Foundation programs and Play it Forward.
