5 join Ogeechee Riverkeeper board

Gregory Brock, Lind Hollingsworth, Larry Hodges, Clay Mobley and Jeffrey Williamson have joined the Ogeechee Riverkeeper board of directors. Brock is on the executive committee of the Georgia NAACP, including NAACP’s new environmental justice committee. Hollingsworth is founder of The Art School in Savannah. Hodges is an original organizer of Friends of the Ogeechee and the Ogeechee Riverkeeper. Mobley was the coastal director for the Georgia Conservancy and prior to that the executive director of the Coastal Conservation Association Georgia. Williamson founded J. L. Williamson Law Group LLC.

 

 

Emery joins Greenbriar Children’s Center

Melissa Emery has joined the board of Greenbriar Children’s Center. She worked in marketing at Procter & Gamble and Chesebrough-Pond’s. She chairs the Board of Trustees of the Media Research Center in Reston, Va.

 

Savannah Community Foundation names directors, officers

The Savannah Community Foundation Inc. has new officers and board of directors for 2016-17. Hurley S. (Trey) Cook III, Robert L. McCorkle, III and Drew Hunt are new members. Continuing as directors are Jennifer Abshire, Christopher Cay, Justin A. Godchaux, Amy R. Henderson, Russell C. Jacobs III, Michael F. Kemp, Al Kennickell Jr., Stephen W. Schwarz and Larry Sprague. New officers are Chairman Michael C. Traynor, immediate past chair Linda J. Evans, President K. Russell Simpson, Vice President John C. Helmken II, Secretary Frank S. Macgill, Teasurer Stephen S. Leonard, and Assistant Treasurer Michael F. Kemp.
