The 23rd Edition of the Best Lawyers in America recognized Phillip R. McCorkle of McCorkle & Johnson LLP in the practice area of real estate law in Savannah. In addition, he has been designated as Lawyer of the Year in real estate law.

 

Local official earns finance certification

Patty Bell earned Local Finance Officer Certification in the second quarter of 2016 through the Carl Vinson Institute of Government’s financial management training program. Bell, who works with the Chatham County Board of Commissioners, was recognized with Level I certification for pursuing professional development in governmental finance, accounting, budgeting, and more.
