Allegiant Air will add Louisville, Ky. to its growing list of seasonal direct flights to Savannah, beginning in late May, the company announced Tuesday.
The company also added a new base of operations and service in Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
“This new base in Destin/Fort Walton Beach will allow us to better serve travelers, including those in Louisville, Ky., which we welcome today as a brand new city in our network.” said Allegiant CEO Jude Bricker.
In total, 17 new routes were announced, with the company offering introductory one-way fares on the new routesfor as low as $42.
In addition to Savannah, Allegiant will offer seasonal nonstop service from Louisville to five Florida locations - Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Punta Gorda, Orlando and St. Pete/Clearwater.
In May, Allegiant will begin offering flights to Destin/Fort Walton Beach from:
Kansas City, Mo.
New York City/Newark
Also, on May 19, the airline will offer year-round direct flights between Indianapolis and Austin.
All flights will operate twice a week.
