This will allow the people with diabetes in and around Bryan county increased access to accredited diabetes education services.

3 join Leadership Georgia class

Three people who work in Chatham County will participate in the 2017 Leadership Georgia class. They will visit Brasstown Valley, Jesup, Jekyll Island, Perry and Braselton in a year-long exchange of ideas and experiences about important issues affecting the state. Savannah/Chatham CASA receives national certification

The Savannah/Chatham CASA received certification by the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association. This certification recognizes that Savannah/Chatham CASA is in compliance with National CASA’s standards for child advocacy.

Alexander honored by coastal environmental group

University of Georgia Skidaway Institute of Oceanography Interim Executive Director Clark Alexander has been honored by the coastal environmental group One Hundred Miles as one of the group’s One Hundred Miles 100. Alexander was selected within the Researchers and Innovators category.

The American Institute of Family Medicine Practitioners has recognized family medicine practitioner Eduard Docu, M.D., as two years 10 Best Family Medicine Practitioner for Patient Satisfaction. He is with Docu Family Medicine Center.

Judge Realty names top producers

Judge Realty announced the two top producers for 2016. From the residential department, Kim Iocovozzi’s sales exceeded $8 million and from Judge Commercial, Michael Hardy exceeded $12 million. Iocovozzi specializes in multi-family, estate lots, and marsh-front subdivisions. Hardy focuses on representing clients on investment acquisitions of land and income generating properties.

AuBuchon now licensed architect

Alexis AuBuchon completed a series of seven Architect Registration Exams to receive her license as a registered architect. She is a licensed architect in Georgia with Hansen Architects PC.
