Kyser named Instructor of the Year

Savannah Technical College Mathematics Instructor Laura Kyser has been selected as STC’s 2017 Rick Perkins Instructor of the Year. The Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction honors outstanding faculty members at each of the Technical College System of Georgia institutions. Kyser will represent Savannah Technical College in the statewide competition.

McLean named Engineer of the Year

Julie McLean was recently named the 2017 Engineer of the Year in Government by the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers. She is the City of Savannah director of development services and city engineer. She is a licensed professional engineer and has 28 years of progressive civil engineering design, construction and management experience including over 14 years with Savannah.
