The "Jet Blue effect" and Visit Savannah's airline marketing push

In a little over three weeks, Jet Blue will launch its inaugural flights from NYC and Boston to Savannah to the exaltation of many eager travelers wanting to get to and from the Northeast on the cheap.

Anthropologie settles in, sees opportunity in the southeast

To the delight of women (and, er, men) ages 18-40 (plus or minus) across Savannah, Anthropologie has been open for about a week now. The much-buzzed about women's apparel brand, owned by parent company Urban Outfitters, operates 185 stores in the U.S., Canada and Europe, including its newest location on the corner of Montgomery and W. Congress streets.
